What do these pics have in common???

We are going to miss Andrew and James... They are going to Bolivia to work along side Terry and Pat Jenkes and their family. They will be helping build an addition on the seminary that Terry is teaching in. They will be leaving on the 26th of January. Andrew will be updating a blog daily on how his missions trip is going. I will link his blog off our website.

To Meditate... Or Not To Meditate

I have always associated meditation with "eastern" religions. Lately, I have been challenged to look into the subject. After little thought, I said to myself, "wait a minute, lumping "meditation" as something only "eastern religions" do, is as absurd as lumping "breathing" as something "eastern religions" do.

It seems as though we already meditate...

We often clear our minds of all distraction, and visualize ... New clothes... Money... Friends... Romance... Vengeance.





It seems as though David is not performing an exercise of clearing his mind of all. Or emptying his mind of all. It seems as though he is filling his mind with a particular focus. What do you think??
